The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been one of my guilty tv pleasures for the last three years and today I have watched the last episode of the season, well the second part of a ‘reunion’ show where the women usually end up having a bitch fight. Compared to previous reunions this one was relatively low key, with some minor squabbling and the notable absence of Adrienne Maloof-the super rich mess who has decided to leave and stick two fingers up at the producers of the show by refusing to appear.
Although I have never watched any other entries in the ‘Real Housewives’ series I always find myself drawn to the plastic-fantastic Beverly Hills gang, as not only are the show’s stars semi-famous already but their lifestyles and bickering seems genuine, and actually penetrates some of the other blogs and news-type things that I read (although that may say more about my reading choices than anything else). Personal highlights of this season have the introduction of Brandi Glanville (picture above) as a ‘full’ housewife, as well as the crazy hypocrisy of Adrienne and Kyle, the latter of whom is actually a woman in case you have never seen the show.
Assuming this blog is still going in October when the next season of the show starts I may attempt some actual recaps as opposed to a general summing up, but until then I will likely forget all about them. Over and out Beverly Hills!
